Astonish Yourself – Book Cover Redesign
(Concept 1)
The first concept explores the theme of experimentation, inspired by the book’s core message of self-discovery through everyday exploration. Drawing from my immediate surroundings, I engaged in the experimental process the book promotes.
The design evolved through playful exploration of form and space, uniting the front and back covers. The back cover incorporates miniature phrases from the book, readable with a magnifying glass, inviting readers to engage interactively. The magnifying glass doubles as a bookmark or ruler, adding a functional and experimental touch to the concept.

Astonish Yourself – Book Cover Redesign
(Concept 2)
The second concept is inspired by the book’s summary, focusing on themes like perspective, identity, playfulness, and the unsettling of reality. Each design element reflects these ideas: the eye in the letter “O” symbolizes perspective, the element above the “I” represents stability, and the orange color with the split “S” adds a playful touch.
Additionally, an extra customizable paper is included, allowing readers to cut and create their own bookmark, reinforcing the book’s interactive and experimental spirit.
