This project, part of the Fabrication Techniques course, focuses on designing a meaningful souvenir that celebrates and raises awareness about Cyprus’s endangered species and unique biodiversity. The product aims to educate and inspire visitors by highlighting:
The Caretta caretta sea turtles, threatened by marine pollution.
The Tripomazis, an endangered bird species critical to the island’s ecological balance.
Kentavria, a rare and symbolic plant native to Cyprus.
By integrating sustainable fabrication methods and thoughtful design, the souvenir serves as a tangible reminder of the importance of protecting Cyprus’s ecosystems, blending education with cultural significance.
